Camp Rock = Camp Not!

"Camp Rock" was a cute movie with a cute story but it showcased a lot of dull, boring writing. Demi Lavato was somewhat enchanting and the right Jonas brother was picked to play lead. Joe Jonas was definitely the best actor and held his own against a cast of "no names" and "I kinda remember you from something" actors. He was a simple bright spot but a bright spot none the less. This movie was definitely no High School Musical in the making or anywhere close. The dancing was low adrendaline and the songs were mediocre and forgettable. As a matter of fact, I can't tell you any song that was performed. In fewer words, I guess I'm trying to say that "Camp Rock" despite all the hype was a "Camp Not."
